The Care Quality Commission recently conducted an unannounced visit of our home in 2011 and carried out a detailed inspection including resident interviews. Here is an extract from that report:
We spoke with people living in the home. We were told that people are very happy with the care in the home, that the staff are very kind, polite and that “nothing is too much trouble for them”.
People also told us that they were happy with the food, activities and entertainment in the home. One person summed it up by saying “If you ever had to go into a home, this is the one”.
We spoke with a member of the community nursing team and we were informed that the home was very organised and called quickly if they were concerned about any person.
She summed up by saying “They are brilliant”.
